What is Content marketing?

Content marketing means producing, publishing and distributing content for your target market online. Businesses use content to attract attention and generate inbound marketing leads.

Blogs, infographics and other types of content are also proven ways to boost sales, brand awareness, credibility, and engagement.

Content uses the zero-price affect to attract new customers by creating and sharing valuable information for free. Behavioral economists and psychologists have subsequently proven that sharing content for free improves a company’s suitability, builds brand loyalty, and drives customers to purchase from you in future.

To produce great content, you first need to understand your customers needs. Following this your next task is present the information they need in the most appealing format which can include news, blogs, infographics, videos, eBooks, emails, newsletters, podcasts and even how to guides.

Content marketing requires strategy, tactics and consistency.

Content marketing definition?

Content marketing is a type of marketing that includes making and sharing online material.

This might include video, social media posts, blogs, infographics, and even ebooks or white papers.

The secret to great content marketing is not explicitly promoting your product but rather stimulating interest in it.

Content is king. At least, that's what most marketers say. But what type? It can be tough to know where to start with video, social media, and infographics, all touted depending on what blog you read.

Intelligent people will have guessed that the true king of content is blogs.

Why?

Despite the rise of other types of content, blogging and SEO are the foundations of any content strategy. What's more, websites with blogs get on average 55% more traffic than those that don't.

So just how do you blog?

You first need to pick a topic related to your business that web browsers may be interested in following. Next, you need to write an article describing the problem and how your product or service solves it.

To write a blog. The first thing you need is a title. A title should contain between 5 to 15 words to rank highly. Next, you add around 1000 to 2000 words under your title explaining what problem you are solving to web users. You should add around 5 to seven images per post and break the article up with appropriate H2 and H3 subheadings.

Most bloggers spend up to three hours writing and suggest that you publish multiple times per week.
